well the clue is that the pumper button is not located on the settings tab but on the profile tab

(it's the icon with the small sine curve)
With this button you can open the basal profile edit form and set-up the profiles which you are using. When you have assigned profiles to weekdays you will get the pumper "context menu" for each cell in the basal row of the bg-grid.
And SiDiary will set the insulin sum of the appropriate basal profile of the current weekday to the first column.
