Importing CSV files into SiDiary 6...

--- Ende Zitat ---

These virtual com ports are created by the driver which comes with the cable. But as said: a 64 system urgently needs a 64 driver.

But maybe you can get a normal com-cable somewhere. These cables need a hardware com port, but no driver. On the other hand you can use them with an adapter com2usb, and it's much easier to find a 64 driver for an adapter. Especially if it has a prolific chip, because then you can use a sitecom driver: http://www.sitecom.com/drivers.php

--- Zitat ---i stumbled on siDiary awhile ago (and bought v5, and now v6) it's been fantastic... so much easier that writing it down in a book!...
congrats for the fantastic program...

You're too kind :rotwerd:

(Bur I always love to hear that ;D )

Alf:
Please download the latest package from out server. The csv-import will now support the field BG_LEVEL_MMOL... :)

Sorry to jump in at the end...

I can get my data to import from a CVS file just fine, except the REMARK field. Sadly that was the only field that I was trying the manual import for because the import from my meter loses that data.

Alf:
I tried that a second ago and everything worked as designed so I assume that ther's a problem with the csv file (delimiter, wrong column etc.)!?

That was the content of my test file:

DAY;TIME;KETONE;BG_LEVEL;CH_BE_KHE;BOLUS;BASAL;BLOODPRESSURE;Weight;Exercise;REMARK
04.01.2012;;;;;;;;;;Forgot the bolus shot for lunch. :(
04.01.2012;07:05;;64;6;8;;;;;
04.01.2012;12:05;BV;113;9;;;;;;

And that was the resulting import screen:

Thanks for the help on the layout. I got an error with my import: "No values!"

Here is the data. Do I use German format for the date and time or USA format?
